The "Pacific Islander Higher Education Conference: We Rise" invites any and all Pacific Islander students currently attending community college and high school seniors that will attend community college in the upcoming academic year. Student workshops will focus on transfer success, academic success, leadership, personal/cultural enrichment, and career exploration. This will be a valuable opportunity to network with Pacific Islander professionals, community leaders, professors and more. Parent workshops will focus on information and resources to help parents support their college student(s). In addition, there will be a Resource Fair available throughout the day that will offer health screenings and other health related services available at local community-based organizations. Local university outreach representatives will be available in our "College Row" area of the Resource Fair. Local UC's, CSU's and private schools will be joining us. Children's activities will also be available throughout the day. Do not miss out on this rich experience!
